Toonumbar Dam near Kyogle NSW Australia.
Great camp spot apart from the amount of rubbish mainly glass, lazy people leave behind.

well Pat its a pretty boring story. each year a bunch of friends and i go out on a man only trip. its gotten so big that we have friends and friends of friends flying in from other states. so as gracious hosts we take pretty much everything you can think of, along with the billiards we offer ping pong, movie nights with a projector and large screen, enough paintball equipment for 16 players and lots more. the cap to it all is the food, we eat better out there than at home.

We used to do something similar to this during dove hunting season. it was a heck of a lot of fun.

In the spring a couple of us were out exploring old mines when a late season storm blew through the area. We decided to "hole up" in the main tunnel rather than set up our tents.

The temp inside was cool but not nearly as cold as outside. The darkness and quiet made for a great couple of night's sleep while we were there. Heading back up there this weekend and the forecast for Sunday is snow showers. Looks like we will revisit our old campsite "Occupy Delamar". :)
