campsite pics..lets see um

I don't (but should). Meanwhile, here's a link to PW's site that shows a few factory photos and the floorplan. My model has a/c and an instant hot water tap that they've dropped on current models. Mine also has a higher output heater. Otherwise, they are pretty much the same today. They only make a few a year, preferring to focus on their more self-contained B units but they are cheaper than similarly equipped Sportsmobiles if you can find one.

My campsite at the spectacular location of the long gone goldfield town of Talbotville, which is deep in the mountains of the southern section of the Victorian Alps. This was a quick overnight stop before heading deeper into the mountains hence it’s a very basic campsite.

A comfy chair to sit on, a swag to sleep in and a fire for the billycan to make some tea...not a bad way to spend a couple of days around the Big River area of Lake Eildon in Victoria :)

An older campsite photo from my time spent travelling around the Northern Territory and Western Australia Deserts in 2002. This campsite was in the desert around the Warakurna / Giles area just of the Great Central Road.

Camping over New Years along Turkey Creek AZ...

I like that hat Brad.

**********

The following photo is significant for two reasons -

1. I'm in a campground complete with picnic table, shade shelter and concrete parking cordons
2. I randomly bumped into Sinuhe at a gas station, 30 mins after this photo was taken

Coincidence? I think not.

Thanks guys. It was dry as a bone this time. I want to go back in the spring when the trees are leafed out and the stream is running. It's a beautiful canyon. Your right though, I would not want to be caught in the canyon during any major flooding.

KC, Nice shot. I love the color in the rocks.

Most of the time my campsites look like this.

But sometimes when you need a real shower, laundry, and a day in the city it looks like this.
