Note the RV latch. The only failure of the original design was the latch after a hard year of testing

As an upcoming owner of a 60-series, man is this lusty. Would love to see this a big enough success on the 80s that they get put on the 60s as well. I've been looking for a solution that replaces my Taco/Adventure Trailer setup for my wife and son and this could just be it. I imagine the Aluminum top could be easily insulated with some sound deadening material, some foam board, and fabric-covered hardboard.

I'm having libidinous thoughts over here. Must move on.

I will not be cutting my roof so my build thread will not be as exciting as yours in comparison.

I'm thinking of buying an 80 just to do a Campteq. Hummmm. My neighbor does have an older 80, I wonder if he is willing to sell?

Looking forward to seeing the build threads with these. I sent a PM about one for myself last night.

Can anyone who has seen/been in one of these in person comment on interior headroom with the roof cut and top deployed? I'm wondering if I will be able to comfortably move around in a decent sized area at 6'3" tall, or if I'll still be crouching a bit.
