Can I sell X in this forum and not be a sponsor?

Mods, I contacted an overseas company ref: Defender parts not avail in US. After some talks, they agreed to ship orders here. If I order 4-5, shipping is about same and others have access to what is not sold in US. Is my best course of action to just buy them and sell 1 at a time? Or can I post items to gauge interest.
Not looking to do this on a regilar basis, or make a living doing this, or sell out of back of truck at Expo.

It is fine to sell items like this on the forum without being a vendor.

You must be a vendor/sponsor if you are selling new or used items for a profit.
