So, what happened with the conversion?

Any news?

being busy is a very bad thing, i have a friend he used to say > my Mama told me never buy anything with a handle that means work :)

i am back on it, tomorrow motor will be in the truck. and the gas tank needs to be modified.

the diesel fuel pump handle tube or whatever its called is thinker in the USA it wont go in the gas tank. so ppl wont put diesel by accident in the gasoline powered car

I think just the filler neck needs modification. Sure you know this but make sure you change out the fuel filter on the frame rail for one designed for diesel- the gas ones clog very quickly.

One of the biggest PITAs with my truck is filling it up... the giant truck nozzles at the diesel pumps don't fit into the OEM filler, so I have to stand there and hover the nozzle over the hole... Siiigh... sucks when I'm doing that for all 20 gallons.

I need to do something about that, get one of those universal adaptors that what's-his-face that wrote about all his trans-African G-Wagen runs had.

While your in there why not do the Feed The Beast mod; So that you can get all the fuel it needs...

BTW Today I paid $9 a us gallon for diesel,

its £1.45 a litre over here in places,
my wifes TD5 discovery 2 will average 32mpg, up to 37mpg on a decent run.

Don't forget we use different gallons here. That must be ~25-30 US mpg?
