This is in regards to the ST MAXX 255/85-16 discussion here. I have an email off to two other contacts within cooper and I posted the following on their Facebook page. I am still waiting on the emails but i got a response on Facebook. See below.

There have been rumors of the Discoverer S/T MAXX being released in the 255/85-16 size? Any details, release date or specifications? There are many who wish to know.

285/75/r16, couldn't wait until February. I've got most of my suspension parts together, just waiting for Deaver leaf springs. Will be mounting them on Wheeler's 16x8 steel wheels. Have a FWC Eagle I'll be truckin' around. Needed a good E All Terrain.

Understand waiting is not always an option, and 285/75 is also a good size.

Ok I understand we are all geeked like pre-teenage boys seeing an R rated movie for the first time with hearing about tire sizes that may or may not be coming out, but how about some long term reports on these tire - PLEASE!!??!!
Since we are in winter how about some snow reports? Any issues in the rain? Off road updates? And since I'm being a PITA and asking how about making them detailed reports - not just "great in........"

I was wondering if someone had an actual measurement of a 235/85R16 ST Maxx? I was wondering how true to size they are.
