It's not only bondo, I bent steel to form the profile, welded it in place then finished smoothing it up with bondo. As for the seats, I picked them up at a local junkyard for $50.00 for the set. Check with your local pick and pull yards and make them an offer. What I have found out is they will make deals on interior/cosmetic parts since they make their money off mechanical parts and most would prefer to make a few bucks on other parts that most people aren't interested in. I have purchased both seats, entry door steps, doghouse box, driver/passenger door panels, front headliner and various miscellaneous parts for about $150.00. Just negotiate. So far including the van, a COMPLETE service, I am about $1500.00 including lumber for the walls, which I will post pics of as soon as I get my wife to trade laptops with me so I can get my pics!!!!!Did you replace the rotted gutter with bondo only? Probably not the best spot to attach your roof rack :sombrero:
Also, I've been looking for some new gray seats, Is your score repeatable?
Dude, every time I stop at the local junkyards, all they have is junk. Thinking maybe you had a buddy at a van upfitter or something. I'll keep looking though, just got to be there at the right time!
