Stopped into Demello today to visit and see how things are going, the shop is a madhouse which means business is good and my truck is the next one in the chute. Should have some pics of burning steel next week
The old bumper is off and has been re-powdercoated and now awaits install on a Portal member's truck.

Camp fire? You people have fires at your campsites? That sounds irresponsible... think of the danger... the smell permeating your clothing. That would just ruin my outdoor experience.

Cabin fever...
It's hot. The truck has been in the shop for a bit and I'm restless.
There's a saying in racing that races happen so that we'll quit improving the car and put it together long enough for it to run a while. It's time to quit building for a bit and travel.
I'm looking forward to some trips again come desert season! I'm thinking Death Valley.
