Go Light Fab Project

I started a project at home to fab a bracket to mount the Go Light to my rack in between the antenna mounts. This bracket will give me a full 180 degrees of rotation and be well protected. Here is my progress so far:

The Purpose of All This Work!

All these mods and such have an important purpose: TO GET US OUT THERE!!!

Despite the incoming severe weather here in California this weekend, we loaded up and headed out to Anza Borrego this weekend. Weather got crazy, but hey, enjoying all of what nature has to offer is fun!

very cool cases. I've been using pelican cases for a few years now and have had good luck with them, the only thing I don't like is the price, but I haven't replaced one yet and a couple of them have taken some good knocks.

G0-Light Mounting: Part One

Finished it up tonight and mounted it... in the rain

Phase Two will be powering it and the controls inside, but that part is easier!

The boxes aren't new, this was just the first time they had been in the truck during extreme rain like that. Cost? Priceless!

Way to go! Like Mark said, very original. You have been a pioneer in "new" Taco modification. Going beyond boundaries others thought weren't possible, and helping others see what is really possible.

Good job.

The best thing is the memories built outside are the ones I cherish will hold on to forever.

I remember when I started the build, I used to think of all the cool places we could go. Now we are at that point where I feel like we can take this thing anywhere in North America without worry.

... We will need a few more mods for Central and South America though! :sombrero:
