Drop down fridge slide

I don't think you would be overshooting. I have the 50L ARB Fridge as well and when loaded with food I can still lift it into the truck to strap it down. Approximate weight 75 lbs of awkward weight. With the fridge, once you figure out what you bring to most trips the weight will stay within 20 lbs or so and the racking stresses is what I will be most concerned with once I make my tilt down fridge slide, just some thoughts...
Anyone know the weight capacity required for the drawer slides themselves? I was thinking 250lbs but not sure if I'm overshooting or what.

TIA.

For some strange reason accuride slides rated at 500# drop to 300# when vehicle mounted. Either way I have 2 drawers, an Engel 45 on slides, one of the drawers on slides, a stove, generator, AT portable propex heater, Honda generator and PETT all mounted on a set of locking accurides and no issues at all. I haven't tried standing on it yet..... Lol

When I first saw these tilt slides I was skeptical and had resigned myself to purchasing a temobo tusk slide. I'm still not sold on this design, but this is giving me ideas. Kudos on what appears to be great execution on your plans.

Thank you sir...when I mount the fridge i'll have a better idea of how its really going to work. Let you know soon.

What is there to be skeptical about? There are fewer moving parts and less complication than the tembo design. The only real downside is the obvious fact that the slide tilts down which may make packing or unpacking the contents of the fridge slightly more difficult.

Also its worth noting that the designs I've seen that I'd copy have gas struts to limit the speed in which the system can tilt. Caleb have you thought of that?

And yes, my reference was to the photos!

Yes absolutely, I am actually about to put a McMaster-Carr order in that will include a dampen spring. Thanks for the insight. And to answer any concerns for the loading/unloading of fridge or accessing any contents, in my opinion it wont be too bad at all and was actually relieved at the angle of approach. But then again we'll see when its loaded with food and an apple or two decides to roll out..... I mean beer!

Also, the change in rating probably reflects an assumption that the slide will be EXTENDED while the vehicle is in motion...which in almost all probability does not apply to our (expedition-centric) application.
