ducks?

It's a thing with a certain type of Jeep driver. We got a buddy who only owns a Wrangler because he can flat tow it. He's always passing out ducks.

My buddies that are hardcore off-roaders aren't really a fan of it. So naturally I keep a few around just to put on their Jeeps when I see them 🤣

I've got them in NH, MA and TN. All before mods. I am hit or miss on the idea

My Cherokee hasn't been ducked, and to be honest I haven't seen another Jeep that's been ducked yet. My neighbor did put a Smokey the bear hat on my dash just because it's an Ex USFS Cherokee. I didn't get to keep though.

Even if you don't like them, be glad you are being 'ducked' with plastic ducks, and not the real thing

Or you are not in 'the south' and someone deliveries your 'ducking' with a 12 gauge

I would rather have found a mallard—or better yet, a teal—in the door handle than a bath toy. I'd be stoked. Free lunch!

Meanwhile, in other “duck” news…

The Russians, in a desperate attempt to safely get some more floating firepower into the Black Sea to launch attacks on Ukrainian cities…without their ships getting blown up by drones…have tried a novel disguise of some small, light duty assault cruisers, as seen here recently when they were towed away from the re-supply docks at Mariupol.
