David Letterman's TOP TEN LIST of Why You Should Attend an ExPo Rally:

10. When someone is beating you in a timed event, there's always the possibility they will wreck their truck.
9. Goodtimes Brian proves his Rubicon is really a RocketRubicon and only needs a small ramp to blast off from earth.
8. DaktariEd faces multiple stark realizations that offroading really can expand your experiences and get your attention.
7. That howling coyote in basecamp was really _______ and _______ making love.
6. During his Wilderness Medicine seminar, Robb strangely starts talking Czech and falls asleep standing on his feet.
5. When hearing Scott explain the pros/cons of a "winch" versus a "wench," you know your rig really needs the latter.
4. The tasty ribeye steaks were really camel meat rubbed in coarse sand.
3. You're still on a 3.0 shelf trail after dark when you should be in camp finishing your first 6-pack. (and you realize adults can still pee in their pants)
2. Robbie the blind dog can actually see in the dark and leads the group to the last camp.
1. After showing the video pics of Outback Challenge:Morocco, Scott Brady reveals he is actually half-Arab, has 29 Arab wives, and 88 camels. Our Hero...Go get 'em Scotty!!
------
And those are the top ten reasons you should attend an ExPo Rally...plus one last pearl of wisdom: "I fabricate because the truth is too hard to bear" ---old anonymous welder

...looks like everyone had a blast! Hopefully next years event won't fall on our wedding Anniversary!

So where WAS the super secret location? I tried to raise the 2m users on several local and ARA repeaters - hit the White Tanks, Mt Union, Towers Mt, Mt Elden linked to Mt Ord (RIMLINK) and Mt Ord to no avail on Thurs and Friday. That covers a pretty good chunk of the state!

So - Why did he have to get airborne to go up that little sand bump?
Seems a bit extreme......:costumed-smiley-007

Anyway, looks as if you all had a great trek.

Everyone was paying WAY to much attention on staying on the road and not falling off the hill to hell and trying to get around the darned cattle guard!! And it was also pitch black at night! :costumed-smiley-007
