Lol, you trust Facebook over SmugMug? That is certainly an unexpected viewpoint, but nonetheless, the linking method is the same. When in FB, right click on an image, "Copy Image URL", then paste that between two IMG tags here on ExPo. I personally am not on FB, for the principal reasons you mentioned. At least FB's privacy policy is upfront about them taking away your copyrights :)

Nope, don't trust any of 'em, really.

And the last thing I need is more time behind a 'puter spent managing additional social media sites. :) I'd rather be shooting or exploring. Preferably both!

Basically, I just try not to put much up anywhere - except on my own website (www.brucedorn.com) or those of my gracious sponsors (Canon, FJ Westott, Corel, Western Digital, Jack Daniels, Viagra, Depends Adult Diapers, etc)

:)

I DO create & post free online photo lessons with the help of my friends at Western Digital and Canon. I'll hopefully be creating a pile of new videos on wide variety of adventure topics but the current WD batch uses bits of E7 footage to illustrate basic photographic teaching points.

Here's a link to the most recent posting:

Additional free online teaching content can be found by searching for my name in Canon USA's Vimeo video collection or through the Canon Digital Learning Center :)

And I'm always happy to field specific questions about still photography & video capture. Please be patient though - like my wingman Scott, I'm usually well out of range of good Interwebs connectivity and often for extended periods of time...

That's why I don't post much on forums anymore :)

I am familiar with some of your Explorers of Light work, and love the Speedlite video you shot of Scott in a Tux wading around in a JK. We welcome your contributions here as much as you are able!

Just had a great drive through the Finke Gorge with my dad. It has been such a blessing to travel with him this past week

We stopped for a few days at Uluru, then on to a section of the Gun Barrel Highway.

Tomorrow we start the Oodnadatta track towards Lake Eyre and the Simpson Desert

Hey Scott!

Glad you had that opportunity with your Dad - getting to see family, and to share a trip like this has got to be awesome!

Scott's dad is one of the coolest and nicest guys I have ever met, definitely a great guy to go on a long trip with.

(You can see where Scott gets it from.)

Thanks for the video, certainly lucky that amount water allowed you to get through. When do we get to see the shots from the chopper? :D

Whilst in South Australia you have to drink Farmers Union Iced Coffee, only place in the world where a milk drink outsells Coke and one of a few where Coke isn't the top selling beverage
