Thanks to James for making the truck available and to the rest of you for not buying it first . . . though I tried to get you to. :)

Anyway, I have a soft spot in my heart for vehicles built to very high standards by clever and skillful people, so James's truck is the latest in the Camper Mog-CMI Sprinter-AdventureDuo LC80-EarthRoamer Jeep line of irresistable builds.

And, yes, it will theoretically tow behind the Sprinter.
Going to pull it behind the sprinter eah?

That would be a site! Can the sprinter really pull that sort of weight? Very cool either way.

Well, that was before I fully realized how much this particular Tacoma weighed. Still a possibility, but less likely than before.

I'm curious to find out which weighs more: the AdventureDuo LC80 I had, the EarthRoamer Jeep or this Tacoma. Better than 10 tons between them, I'm afraid. And my Sprinter is right at its 8550 GVWR. I AM the king of the full-figured overland truck. :sombrero:

Mike, i know it weighs less than our 7400 LC, but i'll take it over to the scale this week and find out. We were figuring in the 6,000 lbs range.

Yeah, me, too. Kinda sad that'll be the lightest of my three trucks. :Wow1:

Thanks for doing that. A very full-service delivery, to be sure.

Nice shot Dave!

I guess the Ex. West taco weights 6,350 pounds ball park as sitting in this shot!

I would have problems working too!

Due to the impeccable driving skills of Dave Druck, the ex-Expeditions West/Trail Monkey Tacoma has been safely delivered to its new home base in Portland. Thanks to James, Scott, Chris and everyone else who helped build this really trick truck, and to James, Mario, Dave and Yosh for making the transaction and relocation a piece of cake.
