Father and Son's Off Road Expedition Trailer build

Well it’s time to build another one. This time we are going to build one to pull behind my Jeep Wrangler Unlimited Rubicon. It’s going s to be smaller and a basic trailer with a lid capable of holding a RTT. No inside sleeping. We need something lighter this time.

I wish I had 4 days. I could really get some work done but this summer has been jacked. I just worked 14 out of 15 days. I worked 24 days in June and 22 days in July. My days at home have been scarce. This build could take years if my schedule at work doesn’t change. But crossing my fingers things will ease up.

Also i am planning to frame this out of 2x3's with insulation between the 3/4" outer and 1/8" inner walls.

You're going way too heavy. A 3/4" frame with 1/4" exterior and 1/8" interior will be fine with hard foam will make for a strong system.
