You can get longer sections from vintage trailers. Measure exactly how long you need and order them that length as well as all the other pieces to save on shipping.

I bet so. Now that I know they offer longer sections, I'll get up with them and see what the difference will be.

Just called over there and talked with Frank. Holy cow that's pricey going that route. I gave him an approximate length of 14' and he said that just shipping alone would be $300.00

After I thought about it, I can't do a full length piece from front to rear. With that in mind, I called Frank back and got a rough quote for ALL trim and seals and ended up with a shipped price less than that last quote. Nice guy btw. Will most likely be ordering from him.

If I remember we ordered all of our insert trim in 6' lengths from Frank to keep shipping as low as possible. Great guy to deal with. Your trailer is looking good!

Did you guys just but the trim pieces together? I would ideally like to find full length pieces to prevent spliced areas, but if shipping is the killer, I'll have to dig harder to find a local source.

Thanks Jim. We actually bumped the length up to 9' sections on mine which would let it be seamless from front to hurricane hinge on the galley lid and the shipping for all of the trim and seals he quoted me on was $36 so I'm happy with that.

Frank told me they butt them up together all the time and have no issues, but the side and roof joint is first covered in sealant tape (can't think of the name of it right now...in a brain fog)
