For those considering 255/85/16s...ST/MAXX is coming soon

Treaddepot has all the sizes posted now. They don't show tread width, but they have everything else. No 285/75R17 is shown. I know there's a Toyo A/T that comes in that size the is a pretty good tire. One of the guys here at work has them on his dodge, and they are doing well for him. (Better than the 285 Duratrac's that were on the truck before anyway...)

I can't find any coopers in stock in the size I'm after, is there a big back order of all Maxx sizes? Or just the 18"?

Awesome, They do exist:wings: They look really nice tooi. Not to overly skinny but not to wide either. I like the stance on them. Not as narrow as the Cooper ST 255s were. But in someways that narrow stance kind of makes them look taller than my 285s. I'm really excited about these. How do the sidewalls feel and what do they measure unmounted? Be sure to let us know how stiff they ride. Those of us with light vehicles are always concerned about these load range E tires.

They are a wider 255 for sure which is great! It looks like a 285 on a diet. Ride is great so far. Plan to take a nice Sunday drive tomorrow for a shake down.

I'm in love!

Are your wheels 16x8?
Are they black side wall on both or do you have the white letters in?

They look great! I think I am going to get a set for my Excursion.
