Thanks for the insight, always good to hear from someone with the same vehicle and there take. I recently just added a LED light bar, so this might be a good option for me.
Thanks again.
I like where you guys going. I was thinking about a light bar as well, get some led bulbs and voila ...

I'm currently looking at some LED bulbs. Reviews say they are better than HID set ups and can get a pair for under $100 off of eBay. High reviews on Amazon, a good price, and an easy install is selling me.

These are junk. I went with a 5x7 LED replacement light that looks just like an led light bar, they use the bottom row for low beam and all for high. they are awesome, better than any aftermarket HID junk ive ever had.

Doesn't really help with composite head light set up. Not planning on going to a sealed light housing, so not really an option for me. Wouldn't mind seeing a installed pic though.

I dont understand this post. Are you saying the lights you are holding are junk or not? Can we see a link to the seller or are these the lights listed on Amazon in 509bercler's post?

Sorry, was posting in a rush, I have tried led replacement bulbs twice and despite good reviews I've been very disappointed. That's why I went with the lights pictured and am very happy. However I will be addin a light bar as well, can't ever have too much light

I've seen those exact ones for sale on Chinese websites but you usually need to buy a minimum (8) amount. They were fairly cheap. Did you find yours locally, details?

Absolutely. There is no comparison between the light pattern of a projector with any other light. They are simply superior... But they are also much harder for people to do properly... And they're not exactly cheap once you factor in new housings, the projector, and a hid kit. You do get a better product in the end but you are also paying more and spending more time on it.

I could be tempted to do some of the HID retrofits for other members here, but you would need to contact me via personal message to work out the details and timing. The HID projector retrofit isn't as costly as you might think, especially compared the TruckLites LED units that don't provide nearly the same output and beam pattern. Let me know if you are interested and we can run down the pricing and options.
