FOUND Vans For Sale!

It is my van and I don't know who Navi is. If you're insinuating that I posted under Navi and it seems like you are, then you're wrong...again. I am also Wanderer on the Sportsmobile forum site where you suggested that I purchase a SGI-5 to fix my speedometer (couple of years ago). I purchased it and contacted you for assistance and you blew me off multiple times and couldn't tell me how it was supposed to be connected. I even offered to pay you and drive down to your shop, but you consistently ignored me. You had to talk to your mechanic in your shop to get the details... I guess your mechanic didn't know.

So you posted a van in the 'found on craigslist' forum, which we all assume means no affiliation.

Why not just be above board and post it in the appropriate place, so we know it is from an expo members, and not step on your toes?

It really does look like a fine truck, I just struggle with the price you are asking for it. Just because Sportsmobiles sell in that range doesn't mean that a Sportsmobile-like vehicle will. GLWS.

GTRV LOW MILES $24k

We have been so happy with this awesome pop-top camper van since we purchased it to replace our VW Westfalia! Clean and runs great. It's a V10 that easily pulled a fully loaded trailer at 13.5 mpg and just checked out at 18.75 mpg unloaded on the open road. Fridge, stove top, sink, auxiliary AC and heating, microwave, V pop top, power and water hookups, lots of storage, outside shower wand, sleeping space up and down. Power locks and windows, cruise control, am/fm cassette and CD. We bought an enhanced, transferable warranty with Warranty Direct that is good until 1-30-18 or 150K. This is a fantastic multi-purpose vehicle--camping, comfy naps on your lunch hour, road trips, guest quarters, and truck, boat or trailer hauling, etc. But it also works easily for a quick trip to the grocery store. Long but parks easily. We had hoped to have more camping time with this great van but find our vacation times are happily taken up with air flights and grand babies.

now that's a very nicely done van. I don't think U-joint is a believer in head studs on the 6.0 but they do a bunch of other stuff.

They don't really need head studs, if you leave the tuners in the box. That's where the 6.0 gets in trouble re studs.

That's a nice looking van and I know ujoint does 1st class work, but unless I missed something that's still a 10 yr old more or less standard passenger van, converted to 4x4, with a $53,000 price tag. Seems a bit stiff to me.

That GTRV v10 fuel milage is all lies.....

Ive had 3 V10s, 2 excursions and 1 F250. I got 18 calculated mpgs ONE time in the truck, completely empty and crushing to Indiana. I have no idea how it ever did that well and never got it again. All I can figure is it must have been one long easy downslope the whole way over. One of the Excursions I squeaked out 17 mpg and that was by trying as hard as possible. Average highway when just trying to do "normal" mileage was usually around 14.5, so yeah, I think those numbers are all wet as well. Unless he's got some kind of mucho tall gears and/or double overdrive or something, I don't see it happening.
