FYI, the 4wd chevy truck/ambo sold for $7686. Not too cheap, but super low miles and like new, so probably a decent deal for someone. Anybody on here get it?

Found this on car gurus: http://www.fairwaytruckandauto.com/2001-Ford-Econoline/Used-CargoVan/Wichita-KS/8393745/Details.aspx
01 e350 7.3 122k mile plain jane with cruise control.
I worked out a deal and bought it. A few dents but no rust or oil leaks, runs great.

Thanks, I hope they're compatible..... This one is going to be total stealth: stock wheels, patina with a nice insulated interior. It came with a new transmission!

I had my eye on that one and have bought on govdeals before, but wasnt sure about import or any other issues with getting it home from Canada. Im sure its no big deal, just havent done it before.

Well the Canadian Fire Truck Van sold for CAD 1267, which is like $940 US. Lots of fun on the cheap!

As far as import/export issues, there can be a ton of them, but generally it's just basic paperwork if the vehicle is over 25 years old. That's why we're starting to see lots of really cool early 90s imports like Diesel Land Cruisers, vans, etc.

That 84 E350 looks like a lot of fun for 10k. Just imagine the '88 red fire van lifted like that...
