Great tent idea

I posted a thread in the Land Rover section asking if any one has seen this neat tent and think a person with a Wrangler could use this as well.

I like the idea, you could probably make it work in a Jeep. As long as you are handy and motivated. It would allow more enjoyable sleeping in a Jeep for sure....

I was thinking I could you the same material as my soft top and have it maybe zip into the zippers were the rear window goes.

If you could make that work I bet you could make a few of them and easily sell them and your money back. I think it is an excellent idea and have saved the pictures for my dream cj8 project.

I saw the other thread, and I don't see why it couldn't work in a Jeep although the tops/back doors are different adn that might make it tougher to do in th Jeep. Cool idea though, I'd love to see what you come up with.

Any good boat top maker in your area could come up with the tent/hoops easily.

As luck would have it I work with 2 guys that do boat covers and tops on the side and they were saying that this would be a fairly easy job.
