I never noticed the prices on their inverters to be much if any cheaper than other places with name brand inverters. I don't know the quality of the sine wave or the longevity or efficiency or no load current draw.

I bought a coleman 800 inverter from Kragen 6 years ago for 50$ on special and have abused it pretty good via a variable speed miwaukee 12 amp polisher/grinder and other sub 6 amp power tools. I did replace the fan inside it because it became so dang loud over time.

It draws 0.9 amps when turned on, but powering nothing.

I have smoked a 400 watt coleman.

I would like

To see unbiased specs on a 2000 watt inverter for $130.

My guess is it outputs a square wave and is not anywhere near a Sine wave.

Save yourself some grief and measure your true AC wattage draw and add ten percent to it. I'll bet its nowhere near 2000 Watts.

Now go buy a good pure Sine wave inverter. Your motors and electronics will thank you.
