Help finding Youtube video of bad recovery

I'm sure someone has posted it here, but for the life of me I can't find it.
There's a youtube video of someone doing a kinetic recovery on a D90 where the recovery strap breaks and takes out the Defender's rear window.
Anyone have it bookmarked, or remember the thread?

I really need to start bookmarking the good ones. :coffee:

Maybe THIS one?

Wow. My shackles alone weigh more than that whole setup :Wow1: you can try to educate some people all day long but hey, some people are just dumb and it is population control at that point IMHO.

Man, look at how much mud was pulled up with him at the end...a good shovel probably would have done WONDERS for them, and it wouldnt have taken 12 attempts/failure!

Maybe maxtrax. That stuff looked a little soupy for the efforts with a shovel not to be short lived. Maybe yet another use of the ARB X-Jack (Lift and fill)?

A lot of guys I work with at the FD are in love with Harbor Frieght. I just don't get it.. almost eveything in that store is junk. (IMO of course).

they tried maxtrax also, as well as bicycle tires, hooked tow straps, shackles to join 2 straps, and placing the looped end of the straps directly onto the tow ball. :sombrero::victory:

That's it! Thanks.
Trying to give someone on another forum an example of why not to cheap out on recovery gear. They want to use this:

I'd forgotten about the other one, but that's a good example too.
Thanks guys, duly bookmarked. ;)

Wow finally some one that thinks along the same lines as I do. That same shackle holder came up on the Xterra boards a few months back. It seemed I was the only one that could strike a argument against it. Every one else was like for $9 how can you go wrong. Looking at the welds and low quality materials in person at the store there is no way I would ever consider using one. That shackle alone was frail and weak looking. I'd guess they engineered it for ATV use not for trucks and jeeps.
