What's Europe version of EPA fuel economy called?
Is there a rated fuel economy for the gas Ineos yet?

Here we have the wltp cycle and they've rated:
- 20/23 mpg for the diesel;
- 15.5/18 mpg for the gas one.

In the "real world" they will be worse, for sure.

Diesel: 10,3-11,8 l/100 km
Gas: 13,2-15,3 l/100 km

Hmm yeah that gasser fuel economy isn't stellar. I'll look into the cycles they use for the WLTP.

US configurator is live. No pricing yet, but you can see the options listed. Unfortunately, I do not see the bull bar listed that was available on the international site which is disappointing. One of the key benefits in my mind was that I could potentially buy a complete vehicle ready to go with auxiliary battery, switches, bull bar, etc. with factory fit and finish. Anyway, have fun checking boxes:

AU$96k for me (not even driveaway, so I've still got rego (~$1k), stamp duty (~$4K) and other fees to pay on top of that), probably over $!00k out the door.... which puts it up against a basic Land Cruiser 300 in price.

Which was a bit excessive for a very basic spec'd one... I kept it as basic as possible with a few niceties - unlike APSW, I do see the value of heated seats, mirrors and washer jets in Australia as I live at 1,000m above sea level and get below freezing in winter quite often.

Payload

I am disappointed to see the final production payload at 1500 - 1900 lbs, where 1900 lbs is for the utility wagon, and the five-seater comes in at 1840 lbs. I really would have liked to have seen this truck meet (or even exceed) its original one-ton payload objective. The originally-advertised payload was one of the objectives that, for my use case, really set this apart from other wagons (in the North American market). Now, 1900 /1840 lb isn't bad, especially relative to other offerings in North America, I just wish they'd hit their original mark for its extra load carrying freeboard.

Im surprised that they didn't offer a HD version with a higher GVM, allowing for more payload.

I understand that 3500kg is the limit for those on a car licence in Euro and UK, but here in Aus it is 4.495Kg and other countries could take advantage of more Payload

I just got an email this morning that the Grenadier Prototype Tour is coming through Canada - Vancouver, Calgary, and Toronto.

I think the average Ineos buyer would feel more comfortable at a BMW dealership that a Deere store. You’d need updated customer waiting areas for sure. The average buyer for these will be gwagen buyers- rarely used in an off-road environment.

What I'm interested in is front seating position - Headroom for 6'+ and if the seats raise for a 5' driver. And view over the bonnet.

Anyone has sat in one and can comment, I'd appreciate it.

I have the same question - I'm 6'1" and my wife is 5'4" so that seat variability is important. I'll try to snap photos or videos, and start a list of asks here.

NOTE: I'm including asks from The Ineos Forum on this list too; I'll cross post the answers to both communities:

1. Headroom for 6'+ in the front seat.
2. Seat motion for shorter drivers.
3. How flat do the rear seats fold
4. Me eating a large donut...This one is a little weird but I do what I can for this community!
5. Can someone 6' tall sleep inside?
6. How's the interior feel "fully loaded" with humans, including rear bench seat.
7. Why are the gullwing doors no longer an option and will they be revisted?
8. Plans on the 5-door Utility Trim in Canada/USA
9. What are the specific differences between Utility and Belstaff rear seat configurations.
10. How good is the stereo
11. Centre Console Robustness (Can you pop it open with a screwdriver?)
12. Wheel PCD and Offset, and will that change
