Ineos vehicles at SEMA 2024

I'm at the SEMA Show in Las Vegas and since I just committed to buying a Grenadier (haven't taken delivery yet), I checked out all of the Ineos vehicles at the show. First the Grenadiers...

This one was outside the West Hall:

This one was also outside the West Hall, near the "Overland Experience" area.

It's got a rear drawer and mid-level shelf from Diabolical, and a new swing-down upper rack as well:

They told me the upper rack was patent pending, and I told him a similar product has been available in the Wrangler market for about 6 years. These are photos of the overhead product in my JKU, swung down with a Rotopax, a shovel and some MOLLE pouches on it (left) and stowed:

When I get my Grenadier, I plan to adapt the Wrangler product to it.

These were inside the West Hall:

This one is from a custom van builder - I guess they were displaying it trying to get customers they could build for, but whenever I passed it there was nobody to ask.

The inside is apparently configured for sleeping, but it's hard to tell how good it was because the sleeping platform was stowed.

The spare-mounted fuel can is from Overland Fuel, a European company: https://overlandfuel.eu/. It holds 8.5 liters (a little more than 2 gallons) and fits nicely in the 17" spare. They come in other colors for different fuels and water, and they also offer "rotopax-style" containers. It isn't clear if they can be bought here, clicking on the "Where to Buy" link on their site returns blankness.

While I am a fan of new vehicles that are reminiscent of proven platforms, these poseur pics from SEMA are not a selling point for me.

Too many mall crawler points make a definitive "loser" statement.

I'll be retiring the JKU, probably selling the custom Safari Cab hardtop and custom flat fenders and putting it back to stock.

Congrats. You're going to love it! Check out the Ineos forum. A buddy of mine is there and has developed lots of products for his already, he works in that world already though.

Really like these things. If they seem to be reliable long term, I can see picking the wife one up in a few years. Great pics!

Good luck with the purchase and delivery BTW.

Jeff, any thoughts on creating items like you did for the jeeps?
Yes.

On the soft goods side I've already tested the number of the Overland Outfitters designs in a grenadier out at Overland West. Here's a photo of some of their seat-back products in a Grenadier.

A few of the OO designs also need minor adjustments or new versions to work properly in the Grenadier and I'll do those as well plus I've got a few new ideas that are Grenadier specific to do. I plan to turn all of these over to OO and they've already indicated an interest in putting a Grenadier line of things in production.

On the hardware side I do plan to do a number of adaptations of some of the designs I've done for MORryde
and also some new designs. I plan to do a version of the Overhead Swing-down MOLLE panel for the cargo area that I did for the JK and JL. I also plan to do a version of the cargo receiver system for the spare carrier that I currently use for my bike rack and over-the-spare rack - here's a video of me installing my bike rack in the cargo receiver system:

I also plan to do a version of the quick install front receiver - I only put that on my jeeps when I'm heading out on an expedition and I use it for my winch up front but for daily driving I don't need a receiver up front so it's a quick uninstall as well. I'll be doing versions of those as well as updates of some of the carriers such as high lift jack, jerry can carriers and Rotopax carriers etc.

Stay tuned when I start the projects I'll start a thread over in the Grenadier section.
