Here is a Bushcraft knife I recently finished up. This one features ironwood scales and black G-10 liners, stainless pins and lanyard tubes, a differentially hardened 4" blade of 1084 high carbon steel, scandi ground with a micro bevel. The blade has a slight distal taper and a tapered tang for balance. It weighs 8.6oz, and measures 8 3/8 inches long overall. I also added some jimping on the spine for an enhanced grip.

FreerangeFJ that is a very nice looking knife. Do you sell your knives?

Thank you sir for the compliment, and yes I do sell my knives both from my website and a few local (to me) retail locations. Interested parties can send me a PM for contact information.

Hey guys and gals, thought you might enjoy an update on what I've been up to lately in the shop.
Here is a nifty midsized camp knife for general purpose camp use. It is made from 3/16 1084 high carbon steel which has been differentially hardened. A full flat grind makes this knife capable of chores ranging from light batoning to food prep. Included is a matching custom sheath from AK Carrigan of Montana Leatherworks.

9 3/4 OAL
4 7/8 blade
Tapered Tang
Distal Taper
Stainless hardware
Black Linen Micarta scales
Red G-10 liners
8.4 oz balanced right at front lanyard tube

Peter, you are quite a craftsman, I really enjoy watching what you do.

FRFJ, that's a good looking, practical knife. I like the fact that you taper the tang, a little extra that shows attention to detail.

Thank you. I do take great pride in the knives I make. Here is a quick pic of one I finished up today. Same model and specs as the last one, only with green/black micarta, a Hamon and brown sheath. I also did with out the thumb scallops on this one.

Here is what I call the Every Day Bushcraft knife (EDB). I designed it to be a companion knife to my 10" Bush/Camp knives but it also works very well as a stand alone for basic bush-craft duties or every day use. I make this in a full flat grind as well for those requiring something a bit more 'slicey' :)

Differentially hardened 1084 steel
7 1/2" OAL with a generous 3 1/4" cutting edge
Scandi Grind with micro bevel
OD Green linen micarta scales
Yellow and Lime Green G-10 liners
Nickle Silver pins
Recessed lanyard with African Blackwood bead
5 oz.
