More awesome stuff, from both of you two.

I like that OD micarta on the handle, and wouldn't mind seeing a matched set of the "EDB" with your full-size; and Peter's Damascus with burled wood is always a treat to see completed. Thanks for sharing, guys!

Hey guys, I just finished up this nice little Pocket Axe which makes a great companion, perfect for a multitude of utility purposes both at home and in the field. It features differentially hardened 5/16" 1075 steel with a tapered tang for optimal balance and control, a full convex grind with a
2 3/8 razor sharp cutting edge and a checkered hammer pole. Comments are welcome.

Here is a Utility/EDC knife I just finished up for a local customer. It features Ironwood scales, G-10 liners, nickle silver pins and lanyard tube. The differentially hardened high carbon steel blade measures 3 1/4" with an overall length of 8" and weighs in at 5oz.

Finally picked up my second Benchmade. This one is a Mini Griptilian in black. 15 years ago someone stole my first Benchmade. The Gerber Powerframe I got to replace that one finally died when I dropped it and broke the tip when it hit the concrete in the garage.

I'd forgotten how good their quality was, and for a mass produced knife. :wings:

About two months ago I got interested in what a maker named Nathan Carothers was doing. He's actually machining the blades/handles with CNC equipment and then doing the final sharpening. The real interesting part is his heat treating, creating a blade that will give you great service at a reasonable, for a custom, price. I ordered one of his Field Grade Utility knives and have made it my "Jeep" knife. I've not put it to any hard use, yet. Nathan does videos for all his designs, really shows off what his knives are capable of.

I got one with Micarta, Kydex sheath:
