Looks clean and has some great drivetrain mods, that will certainly get you there and back again on some rough roads :ylsmoke:

Here is my K5 blazer. It's an 84 with a 6.2 Detroit Diesel in it. It also has a 2 inch lift, 33 inch tires, and automatic lockers.

Wow, I saw your truck this weekend. My Fiance's brother lives in your neighborhood and his birthday was Saturday so we went to go see him and we took a walk. I really like your rig and it looks even better in person.

Thanks! that is crazy. The radiator has a hole in it right now. The thing that sucks is that since its a diesel a rad is $350. So hopefully ill be rolling around in it soon.

My roof rack is a budget rack that I spent only 80 dollars on and made it out of two ATV racks bolted together.

I mounted the rack directly to the roof. To prevent leaks I went to Home Depot and got some garden hose end caps and took the rubber grommets out of the inside and put a washer on top of it.

Nice application of ingenuity - I dig.

2001 Silverado Z71. This is my current daily driver. I plan to turn it in to a decent expedition vehicle. I have taken it off road a few times and it holds up fairly well. I am looking forward to making some modifications to it. I have been getting a lot of ideas from everyone's posts on here.

It's nice to see another older GM diesel on board! I've owned several 6.2L's over the years, and am now enjoying my current 6.5L with 270K + miles on her!

I mounted the HiLift jack by bolting a steel plate with 4 bolts to the rack and then running a half inch bolt through the jack with a washer and a wing nut on the other side.

In case you haven't seen by now... I do not have a welder nor do I know how to use one.

That's awesome! I have no idea how many miles mine has. But the best part of the Detroit Diesel is that I'm running 33s and I'm getting 18+ city and 20+ highway!!
