Wow Casey. That is a really nice looking Tahoe. And with a diesel to boot.

Thanks, I really appreciate it. I've never seen another diesel Tahoe in person; just pictures on the internet. I've seen lots of Suburbans, old Blazers, and tons of trucks, but never a Tahoe/Blazer in this body style.

This is my 5th GM diesel; I've had three N/A 6.2L's, one turbocharged 6.2L, and now this turbo 6.5L.

Have you had any issues with running the nozzle backwards on your snorkel? In the instructions on mine it said NEVER exceed 15 mph if doing this.

I wasn't even aware that they came with a diesel option. Especially not the two-door. I assumed you did a swap. What kind of mileage do you get?

Yep, 100% factory diesel option.

I average 18 mpg. I wish I could squeeze a bit more out of her, but that's the best she'll do. The four 6.2L's I've had managed to do a bit better, around 20 mpg.

Thanks, I miss it. It went from a stock ex Air Force rig to that. 14 bolt rear end with Detroit locker, 5.13 gears, Dana 44 front with Chromoly axle shafts, CTM U-joints and ARB locker, Crossover steering, Heim joints.....I miss Her.

Next up are Carli upper/lower balljoints, BDS steering box stabalizer/borgesson HD steering shaft, and a Lorenz industries billstein leveling kit with 23% stiffer coils. Hope to have all that done by mid next week. This weekend im gonna play around with some ideas to keep everything in the transfer flow toolbox from sliding around.
Have a fella looking into places to get a bed cage fabbed up around here. Starting to come together. \m/
