The Elevating Rack System is comprised of stainless rectangular tubes that go down through the hollow side walls of the cargo bed and sit on the chassis at the bottom and fastened at the top of the cargo bed shoulder. Then 3 x 5/8 thick aluminum bar stock fit precisely into those tubes and has holes along its length allowing various heights to be set using the lock pin. At one end of where the elevators attach to the rack are slots allowing the elevator coupling to slide approximately 3" as the distance between the front and rear vertical beam increases as you raise or lower one end.
Currently this is a manual lift system and one person can raise and lower the rack. We are working on mechanical actuators that will do the lift. Should have it available in 60 days.
