I purchased a clean GX 470 last year and am just starting the process of modifications. The goal will be a minimalist project with just a few key accessories to improve organization, ground clearance, and trail protection/recovery. I will start a thread once it gets started

Nice pickup Herr Founder! They don't need much, that's for sure. Very capable from the start. The 470s have a lot more aftermarket support than our 460s also.

Hi all,

New to expedition portal, I’ve had a 2004 GX since 2009. Presently has 220k miles, going strong, not too many mods. Sits on 265 17R 70s, and swapped out the air for springs a few years ago. Would like to lift the front a little to match the rear but haven’t yet. I’ve also installed a 2m radio and a Uniden scanner into it, for listening to various things as we drive around.

Where's all the modded 460's for sale? Just sold my 4runner and in the market. It won't stay stock for long so might as well start halfway there...

Never imagined this thread would make the top of the page! I haven't seen too many modded 460s for sale online, though my local Nissan dealer had this beauty on a ramp out front for a few months
