Lifted van with dirt bike hitch carrier?

That looks pretty much ideal! Do you have a link on where it can be purchased? Are you running an extension of any type? It didn't look that way.

Heck, this jerk does it! :D Really, a van lifted 4" has a hitch height around the same as a stock F250.

Kinda late but no extender and it's just a moto x hauler

There is a van moto carrier thread from a few years ago on here with tons of pics if you want to search for it.

I have the Mx Hauler style too (motojack rack- out of business- same almost)

Works great- also have an extension to clear spare tire- no issues.

No tie down needed, as you have bolts that run thru the foot pegs that hold the bike. Also since its supported only by the frame there is no bounce of suspension to worry about. Super stable set up- been running this for over 10 years- with no problems.

I have seen rail type hitch haulers wobble and have a handle bar take out the back window on a 4Runner.

I run a ratchet strap over the seat just as extra insurance. But really not needed- non of my buddies do it.

Anyone here have a setup like that? Is it cumbersome getting the bike loaded up that high?
Yes it is cumbersome. My XR400 sits high and is heavy. It rolled back on me and the sharp license plate left me needing 5 stitches . You also need to watch out for the rear glass in the doors. Best is to back up to a hill or curb. Sometimes you can back right into a bank and roll it right on. Two people is nice and have your straps ready before you load it. Here is one I built and it's been perfect.

With a 6" lift and 34's I'm not sure how I'd even get it up there. Does it drop down or anything? Can you take a close up picture of how it's connected if it's not too much trouble? The smaller footprint would be great. Making decisions is hard.

I think you're talking about this style. It's a hydraulic bottle jack that drops down and you just wheel the bike right over it then jack it up. No lifting the bike at all, but maybe a bit if your van is really high. They're pricey tho

I was thinking of something maybe with a hand winch to crank it up and down a slide. Have it go up to a rubber stopper and crank it tight for travel. UGH!! I wish I could weld!!!
