There's an idea; bet you know what not to do on the build now...

Like levelers. Put them in a location where they can reach the ground and work.

Are you !#$%NG kidding me? Did they get anything right on your rig? You have to be the most patient man in the world. I think I would've gone postal by now if I was in your shoes.

I would not stand for it. The trailer would be given back and I would be standing on their door waiting for a check. Totally unacceptable how many things are wrong with this.

Part of the problem with that is the quantity of parts that I supplied for the build and the basket of money I'm out in that regard.

I've politely asked him to build another one, take his time, and do it right. It's up to him to man-up and do that.

You can only stay Polite for so long. I would take my own parts off and leave him a hunk of junk to deal with. Glad that YOU are a respectable person that is being patient and waiting for people to do their job. You should recieve a GOOD PERSON award.

Heard from Scott at the factory.
To paraphrase, he's apologized and wants to make everything right. I am cautiously optimistic.

It will be too hot to camp very soon (already) and I plan to give them the trailer back to either repair or rebuild.
Cross your collective fingers.

I really really hold out hope for the American craftsman and their desire to turn out a good product.

I have been following your build/issues since day one and hoping that everything gets resolved.

As a very happy, recent owner of a rough rider, Chris and Lil'guy have (so far) been great to deal with. I am very excited as we are about to take a 2 week, 4000+ mile trip with the lil'guy and Im even more excited to hear that everything gets taken care of for you (well, maybe a little more excited about the trip :) ).

Where are you going?
Here's our recent trip; we had a blast.

Levelers to reach the ground....hmmmm.....I'll put that on the list; along with fenders that cover the tires, and batteries in a custom battery box not a cheapie plastic one.....

You'll have fun, someday.

The Little Guy crew will have the trailer picked up next week, returned to Ohio, tweaked and remedied.

My faith in humanity is on the line.

Is everything spelled out in writing what is expected to be done to the trailer? No more of that verbal-over-the-phone stuff right? Glad to hear they are at least making an attempt.

Chris says that they'll address all the issues I've sent them (21) and consult with me until I approve each remedy.
