Yes we still have the skidplates for both D1 and D2, we had a run a while back that didn't look to good. This was the last of them.

timmy if it rains saturday i may be tempted to drive to hutnsville and help you put all that and your new suspension on! i'll be in birmingham anyways so it won't be that much of a drive!

Hah it is supposed to rain here all weekend. Sucks big time.

so the parent's say. i'll be getting out the tarp again like i did last spring when i started building the first bumper. if you're game come on down again. i'll be up early and working on it all day sunday as well.

finally done with that low-hanging shovel of a trailer hitch. i'm keeping it for the odd opportunity that i will ever tow the sea doos around. this hitch is for recovery only. i may add some weld on chain rings if i ever see the need but i doubt i will... dad creeped into my shot.

it was getting dark and i didn't feel like focusing on my pictures. i might take some photos of the bracing underneath and the 40 pounts of steel i added to beef this thign up. there is no way in hell this thing will ever budge.

EDIT: and yes i put a turn down on the exhaust. it dumps just before the frame brace.

There are two things I really like about your Discovery.

1. You use it on the trail - a lot.
2. You are willing to do all of your own work and even some hand-built projects.

Nicely done :D
