great looking pup. Where did you get the seats from I have a 94 E250 that could use new seats

Ebay..

So an ad popped up on CL and it was exactly what I was looking for. So I drove my *** out to orlando and picked this bad ***** up. 2002 KTM 300 2 stroke. It came with brand new road and knobby tires, brand new helmet, new gloves, racing gas tank, and all the original paperwork. I'll get better pics tomorrow.

Yeah the ronco tank is fine. pretty straight forward.

I put the heater together and mounted it. I just need to attach the fuel lines and the electronics.

I installed these little leds underneath to light up the ground while camping. Nothing worse than dropping something and not being able to find it.

I'm helping promote my friends kiteboard company by putting the logo on the side of the van. So I used a projector to trace out the image.

I'm going to paint that part and put another coat on the roof on wednesday, when there's a break in the rain.

Progress is being made on the roof rack too. The boxes that my longboard is going into are almost ready. Just need to clean it up a bit and weld the tabs underneath to the frame.

Great progress!

PS--I have(had) that same stepstool, nice and compact. Word to the wise; make sure you put your entire foot across the step, vs the ball of your foot on the center of the step. I did the latter and only at 150lbs I cracked the center of the step...garbage now. :(

I use it as a seat. Never tried to stand on it lol I've busted through it a few times sitting down, luckily it's not far to fall. It's the perfect height to sit on, inside the van.

I've been going back and forth with the DMV inspectors on what I need to convert the title to a class b camper. They have some 8 page assembled by parts paperwork to fill out and I'm supposed to have a bill of sale for all my parts. "Receipts must be signed by the seller and include sellers address and phone number. All parts receipts must have vin number on them. No ebay, paypal, craigslist printouts will be accepted as bill of sale."

What kind of sht are they trying to pull. There's no way I'll be able to provide them with that. I bought all my crap off amazon and installed it myself lol.

In this day and age that's way goofy. Must be a Florida thing? ;)

I actually got some bad information. She was giving me info on what to do if you build your own car. Apparently all I have to do is go to the tax collector with an affidavit stating that I installed a 110v or plumbing system in accordance with state law and money for a new title/registration and that's it. LOL Florida is turning out to be the easiest dmv I've ever dealt with. A complete 180 from a third world country on island time.

Progress was going slow and I hated that I was rushing the work to catch an unrealistic deadline. So I took the van down to the keys for a friends wedding as a test run. I already had tickets to the LSU/UF game since I planned on being in that area by now, but obviously that wasn't going to happen. It's a good thing I have a ton of miles. So $12 to fly out there for the weekend works for me. I left the van with my welder so hopefully he'll have the battery box in and the rack painted and on. Here's some long overdue updated pics.

Some more pics of the longboard box. The tabs will go underneath and welded to the pipe, then holes drilled out. I'm going to use hardware to attach everything to the rack. This way when I sell it, if the person doesn't like the setup, they can strip it down to a bare rack and start fresh.

I sprayed the roof again. We scratched it up a lot taking the rack on and off dry fitting it. Plus it was a bit thin.

The stove fits perfect in the door, held up very tightly with magnets. I can slam the door and it won't fall off, but still easy to pull off.

Here's a better idea of what the awning will look like.

Put the dirtbike on the back as well to see how it fits. A bit too wobbly for my liking. It's going to take some modification.

How/where do the awning arms stow? Do they just hook into the upper and lower tubing and remain in place with gravity?
