How is the height on these with the top down? Is it sleepable realistically? Can you sit at the table with the top down? I am also curious if any of you have used the kid bunks they offer as an option? They look uncomfortable to me?
I have slept with the top down, because I was curious, but I don’t think sitting at the table would be too comfortable with the top down. We’ve been in decent wind with the top up with no concerns.

Our 5yo uses the bunk every time we camp, but I think the max weight is 140lbs(?). It’s basically a cot, so it’s as comfortable as any cot, I guess. I’m a bit north of 140, so I haven’t tried it personally. The other kid bunk holds extra jackets, blankets, and other soft goods up out of the way, it’s handy.

Hey, we just purchased a new Summit, it sat outside and was not used since the prior owner purchased it. The windows are leaking around the frame and trailer gasket. I’ve pulled the windows and my thought is add a layer of butyl tape and reseal the gap with RTV. Has anyone had similar problem?

We have a 2022 model and have not had any window issues. Our last trip we had a drop from the roof from our fan seal, so I will reseal around that area.
Has anyone put kayak mounts on? The cross bars are thicker than most stock mounts will take. Longer bolts is an easy fix, but just wondering if anyone has found any that fit well? Thanks

Same problem. Fixed with silicone caulk.

Pro Tip:
I'd thought I would repost this since cold weather is approaching.
With cold weather approaching, adding these ducting tubes greatly helps heat the cabin.
This will direct the heated air into the body of the trailer rather than into the cabinet and triggering the thermostat sensor and shutting off the heater.

I noticed the deadbolts on my locks were moving up when being extended.
I removed the locked and found the lock is plastic and a piece of plastic that held the deadbolt broke.
I replaced the lock with an all metal lock. A very easy job and not expensive.

I rigged up a cabin air filter. It seems to do a good job with any errant dust that gets through the door.
My measure of effectiveness. is the amount of dust on the cabinets.
The design is simple . A high CFM bilge fan and a oiled air filter. I plug it in when I leave but will install a remote switch to switch it on/off without opening the door.
You can see the dust on the filter.
