MOPWR Build

nice ingenuity on the home made RTT, though i think i personally would have just said **** it and bought a James Baroud

I've been summoned to help clear some small brush (by hand) next weekend, and I'll be camping out there. Can't wait to try out the tent!

Ordering my fuses for my dual battery finally also!

Dual battery is installed minus the fuses...I ordered mini fuses instead of full size ones :(

Solenoid wired up

Wiring all tied up...."nice and neat..."

Switch to make it possible to turn off the second battery (wired to solenoid)

Haven't been doing too much with it lately, but I'm finally tired of it sounding terrible due to a rusted out factory muffler...total length of the muffler is 22" and 18-20" of it was rusted out.

Still have to attach it to the cat, but already better! Running right out of the cat right now, thinking of eliminating it but not wanting the loudness.

Nice muffler!
What brand is it. Always like to see the welded end caps, instead of rolled & crimped.
So nice not to have the rattle sounding exhaust. It's like fingernails on a chalkboard to me.

The brand is called "Xcelerator." They're a magnaflow knock-off. I had one on the Comanche, and it sounded good.

Well, I replaced the damaged transmission pan, but I have a vibration under moderate acceleration and the power steering pump is leaking. This will be the third time I've replaced the pump. Haven't had time to diagnose anything really as far as the vibration.

Winter is here, and I need to get this stuff fixed....

very nice man, I have always loved the 5.9 grand cherokees! Would love to have one in my fleet! lol

Thanks man. I love mine. I've been letting it sit mostly as of late. Been driving the new toy (NB Miata).

I am planning to do some work to it this weekend if my house chores get done (honey, do list!)

So...I may have missed relocating my breather tube on the transfer case...Axles have been relocated for awhile...

Also did motor mounts, pass side was soft, and going bad, drivers side bad begun to deteriorate, and was about to go bad...

Well, after thinking that the water in my t-case was the cause of unbearably loud "growling" when driving, it wasn't...it's had a noise since I bought it, but now it is getting louder...so, it looks like the noise is coming from none other than the D44A. It looks like the 8.8 swap is about to happen in the next month. Just have to finish up some inside the house winter projects before I get to work on the Jeep.
