My Conqueror and Rig!

Honu

lost on the mainland
I had my tanks get punctured but it was punctured on the lower corner !

so for me I am going to armor the complete things and through the bottom also

so where the tube bends and that cross bar that is low ! mine got ripped open just below that right on the bend basically

So, this was a last minute thing, but we got to thinking about our camping experience last Thanksgiving and decided to give the new rig a run.

I had just had a bunch of work done on the truck:
New ECB Ceramic Brakes all around, New Wolfs and G-90 tires, New Radiator recore (upsized the tubing from the stock 1/8 inch to 1/2 inch ... runs so much cooler now!!), new heater core (yep the old one blew and about scalded me to death while driving down the interstate!)
New Power-steering pump, new Mass Air Flow Sensor and hoses, new stepper motor, new cold temp sensor, idle reset ... and probably several other things I am forgetting.

So, we readied ourselves for the maiden voyage of the new Classic and off we went. Here we are at 5 am Friday morning:

Oh, and the hood black out was done Thanksgiving Day (never care to do one of those again!)

This was our camp. Decided not to deploy the master canopy as it is clear and sunny this weekend.

And the kids (now 22 months and just turned 6). They are lovin' this:

We are still here ... even have high speed wireless internet!

More pics of the rig and trailer to come.
Thanks

Are you back at Yogi Bear, Dendy? Or somewhere closer to home?
We went out in the forest last Saturday and stayed until Wednesday; used our new generator to charge the battery. There were just too many hunters by Wednesday to have fun so we came home.
Yogi Bear would've been quieter...

Yeah, we are at Yogi. Place has only a hand full of people.
It was a real last minute decision. With the economy lately, our owning our own business, and having two small children, ... planning seems to have flown out the window!

It is really tranquil and beautiful here.

Thanks for that Bill.
This place is so great. We are hoping to spend some good time here come Spring. We are staying here until Tues, AM, but the campground officially closes tomorrow until the second week in March.

Here are a few more shots of the day's outings with the truck and camper.

A little cool photo trickery:
