To tell you the truth, not really:( I still have some mounts and brackets to cut off the box. I did get a 10'x10' tent with surrounding sides so that I can get the lid and box sandblasted when the weather dies down alittle. After that I will get the box bondoed and primed, then start building the new frame. I was hoping to have it alot further along by now but you know how that goes:oops:

Did you figure out what year it was? The reason I ask is because yours has the same frame as mine. One brace in the center has been removed and replaced with reinforcements in the frame above the axle. If you look at it you will see what I mean. Most of the ones I have run across are not like ours. I don't know if it is good or bad, but it does leave more room for mounting a water/fuel tank underneath.

Good find by the way!

I think I remember seeing somewhere on it that it was like a 1964. Well I ended up taking back the tent I got to sandblast the trailer in because with the little blaster I would have been out there for weeks and lots of $$$$ in sand. I found a place to do it so I should have it back next week. The AT fenders will be here Monday. Then I can finish the body work on it.

Great find for $600 bucks....I have been looking myself for one or the M101's, just not to long ago, you could pick up a brand new, never used for around the $500-$600 area, now they are going for well over $1,200 if you can find one...Nice build!

Got the trailer back today!!! What a difference that made. Off tomorrow to get all the stuff to bondo and prime it so it doesn't rust on me.

Not sure. I bought 2 of them at the same time, sold one to a guy in Twisp, WA. I bought some spring pads to do a spring over but just haven't found the time to do it. My ultimate goal was to build a lid, mount an RTT, color match it to my Jeep, and serve general overland duties. In reality I'm building more towards superlight gear, low overall weight, and small and compact. I change my mind everyday unfortunately. Back on topic, your build is awesome, have you decided on a RTT? Are you on Northwest Overland Society's site?
