Got the tub undercoated, and the frame painted this weekend. The axle should be here end of the week, can't wait. Barrowed some wheels from my father-in-law just to get the thing mobile so I can move it around as I'm working on it.

Been a busy week:xxrotflma

Got the axle and brakes. Been trying to paint everything but it is so cold up here that it is either drying funny or still hasn't dryed but I'm working around it. The axle is installed, brakes are on, got the stainless bolts for the diamond plate and got it mounted down, fender holes are marked. Even picked up the Raptor liner to do the box and fenders Saturday. The wife is in school all week and Saturday's so I'm on the move trying to get this thing along as far as I can.

Your build looks great!! Those old trailers sure come to life again! I scanned through your thread and may have missed it but where did you get your axle? Thanks again and keep up the great work!!! Ill get pics of mine up here some day.

Dude....

The axle looks good.....We need a day shot of the AT fender and your spare tire off your rig....I don't think 2.5" is a big deal between the tire and the frame....If anything it just gets a wide track.....Which is a good thing if you plan on putting RTT up there....

Got the same axle as Willman. It is from hendersonwheel.com out of Utah. The axle, hubs, custom cut length, brakes, and u-bolt kit came to $311 shipped. That is about $100 cheaper than the place locally here. Should make some good progress again tomorrow since I have a full day to work on it.

Got it as far as I could get it until I can stir up some more parts. Got the box, fenders, and inner fenderwells "RaptorLined". Mounted the fenders using all stainless hardware, WestMarine has a great selection of stainless. Mounted the Jerry can holders, and also found some drain plugs at HomeDepot for the drainholes, kept those so I can pull the plugs and wash it out after a long trip. I even test fit the BBQ and fit like a glove:) Should be alittle bit and I will get the wheels and tires, and all the hardware from McMaster Carr for the lid.
