Very well possible. When I removed the stock air dam on my JK, I noticed quite a hit in my fuel mileage. Mileage went back to normal once I put the deflector back on. I think I even posted about it; here is the link

I noticed the same, and did like wise. And the plastic is much lighter to boot...

towing your conqueror

hi. just came across your thread and curious to know how you feel jeep is performing towing the conqueror, i had a conqueror commander trailer that i towed over 40,000km around australia (70% off road)with a 07 jeep commander 3.0diesel and it was effortless, no issues with more than enough power for steep climbs and was extremely stable at high speed on the tarmac and on bad gravel corrugated roads. As the jeep commander is out of warranty i am looking to get into a wrangler unlimited 2.8 diesel but my main concern is wether the stability of the wrangler will be as good as the commander. Power shouldnt be much of an issue with the 2.8diesel

I mean ... where is there unexplored territory in the US? Maybe the Canol Road in the great white north of North America.

Right around the corner from us... Sadly have lived here 11 years and have never even gone down it... but it's on the too do list somewhere...

Promotion- Tows great. I do, however, have the 3 inch AEV lift. The OME lift would probably work well also. (always had OME) on my Land Rovers.
Couldn't speak for the diesel in the JKU - we don't have that luxury here!

thanks dendy, that was my only concern with the wrangler as i had such a good experience with the commander. hoping they have enough stock to release the rubicon diesel here later in the year as the rubicon was only available in the v6 last year and that should be the one to get. The conqueror will go anywhere the jeep will go ,its very tough, we gave it the full treatment on every kind of terrain and it handled it with ease, you will be impressed with it.

And vehicles for sale can be found in that same section, along with used in the section below. Any dealer selling AEV trucks, ... the trucks fall under full factory warranty and everything sold on the truck is covered. They also qualify ... if a 2011 for the 0% finance incentive currently offered.

Great looking Jeep (s)! I spoke to AEV this morning and they referred me to a dealer in IL (nearest to me). After speaking to the sales person (that AEV suggested) he stated that AEV products are not covered by the factory warranty and anything that the modifications affected would not be covered either (he used suspension lift as an example).

If that is the case, pretty much deflated me from purchasing in the "easy" mode.

As far as I know, even MOPAR performance parts have their own warranty that covers the parts; Jeep won't warranty performance parts or OE parts affected by them.
I was able to look at the notes on my JK and I saw "lift installed" listed but not my aftermarket gears, Superchips tuner, headlights, winch, etc.
I believe that when AEV says covered by "factory warranty", they mean their factory. Jeep dealers are becoming less and less inclined to happily repair things when a Jeep is modded.

Hey Dendy!, I may be moving over to the dark side also. My '04 Disco just ate a head gasket, ( I'm hoping that's all it is) and I'm tired of constantly having to watch the temp gauge. We love the rover, but The 2012 Rubicon Unlimited with 21 mpg (I know, I know...) on regular gas will save almost half on my fuel bill. My insurance rate also will drop by half AND I get a warranty on a vehicle that actually has dealerships in most towns. My wife and I do a lot of exploring alone, and with this current breakdown, she is kinda scared to hit the sticks in the rover.

The other problem is the resale value on these things drops so fast it if you have a loan, its very easy to end up way upside down on these. The resale on Jeeps and Toyotas is incredible. I still see lots of '08 JKU rubis selling for close to what they were new!
