At the beginning of this vehicle project, Graham Jackson remarked, “Should be a fun build. All that chrome is kinda freakin' me out though. You'll have to do something about that!”

Very nice. Mark, I have one question. Why have you opted to keep the swaybars? Is it because of the weight?

PS: When I took mine off, I was expecting a lot more body roll, but was surprised when the handling became more refined.

I actually experienced an improvement in handling when I removed the front sway bar on my Pathfinder. It seems more able to soak up bumps on the road, since the front suspension is actually acting independently and not tied together with a big honkin steel bar.

Body roll was slightly increased, but with the stiffer AC coils (made by Valley spring works, and beat to heck and back), it's not much worse than stock, even with the added weight of the roof rack. Put a tire up there, though, and it gets scary.

Very cool Mark, sweet write up as always.
It might seem to some that Brooke appreciates the truck more than you, or does she qualify as "model" better than you?
Can't wait to see it next weekend.

No, actually I never thought about taking it off. But I like your impression, thanks for bringing it up. I'll take it off and see what we think. You do have the Radlo coilovers, which changes the dynamics. All we can do is try it out and evaluate. Thanks

Duly noted.

She's my model for sure. In that picture, she's wearing a shirt that says, "On the way!" with an arrow pointing down, but it didn't quite come through. The joy of pre-parenthood on a t-shirt.

Oh, Wil, you are just spoiled since you drive a Toyota. Not everyone can handle the off highway stuff as easily. :)

I caught on... Just don't want every one to think that the Brooke-mobile is a pansy-mobile.

I agree on the sarcasm font!
