Hi Folks,

Looking at buying a ‘04 E350 Diesel with a 4x4 conversion. But this vehicle has no conversion history. It doesn’t show up in the Quigley Search...Any help would be appreciated!

Back in 2013-ish, a shop in Clackamas, OR (Rob's Automotive) did a few E350 4x4 conversions that looked really similar to that.

Did you drive it?

If it is a one off conversion you should make sure that the geometry is good and there is no death wobble or other quirky handling issues.

Agreed, particularly that the caster is correct, it appears as though it would be, they dropped those radius arm mounts down to get the arm parallel so that should be close. Pay close attention to the track bar mounting and it's relationship to the drag link..

Passed on this vehicle without being able to verify the builder. Going with a low miles SMB (with paper trail history) with a bullet proofed 6.0l and lots of Luminess goodies. A lot more money, but I know it’s done right and can get parts...Still trying to find out who did the build on this one for the other seller. General concensus is that it is a Javier/crow build? But I can’t find a website or email address for him. Haven’t looked on eBay yet...but probably will.

Thanks for all of your help!
