what is with the stupid short windows? the reason i like rovers, is the ability to see out of the vehicle.

I see it as a good development, at least in the right direction.

The few things that need to change for balance would likely happen in a production unit anyways, like a taller side door glass. I like the front grill, particularly the upright position. The bonnet needs a smoothed, more rounded transition to the wings. The fender openings could be a bit higher on the panel, opened up a bit, allowing for an even larger tire and reducing the overall height of the sheetmetal in that area. I like the roofline, which speaks to the legacy of the product, including the side glass. Approach and departure look great. I really like the utility (van) sides without the glass.

This is a huge improvement from the DC100.

No doubt it will have independent front and rear, but it will also likely have the cross-linked air suspension and three locking diffs. I can see it in all white, front bull-bar, winch, sliders, 33" tires.

The DC100 I would not buy - this I would. Praying for the 3.0L twin turbo diesel. . .

Definitely moving in the right direction. Bigger windows though as I too like that I can see out of older LR products. I think they may be onto something. Pray for a diesel.

99% better than the beyond cruddy DC100 but still needs a heck of a huge final 1%. What a relief though that the DC100 is hopefully DOA. At least it looks like a Land Rover on the outside overall even if the innards aren't truly what we all want to see.

Aren't there still militaries world wide that use these rigs? Wouldn't they still prefer the old fashioned solid axles?

I guess they might. Although the Humvee seems to do ok for our millitary with independent suspension.

Pretty funny to read through the posts on that page. I really like some of those renderings though, especially some of the 110/130's.
