Did anyone else lose the 2 external water lines and quick disconnect gas line on the passenger side when the tire blew? Just got done replacing mine after the blow out.

Yes, it was a bit of a mess. My Triangle branded tire blew out on the way to a camping trip in Big Sur California. I had to make temporary repairs at the campsite.

Where did you find those 12mm to 1/2 inch splice couplers? I couldn't find that 12mm white hot water line anywhere.

I purchased half inch outer diameter PEX white pipe from Lowe's along with shark bite couplers. I basically made it work.

What size are the rims on the D13. 17”? My trailer is in storage and I have been lucky for the last two years on the factory tires but I think it’s time to replace them.

No 16 inch. I replaced my original Triangle tires with Nitto Ridge Grappler LT265/75 R16 123Q E1. The Ridge grappler is classified as a Hybrid Terrain Tire

Tire blow out the other day. Kinda hosed myself by not having a proper jack ( lesson learned). I waited 4 hours for aaa. Went to harbor freight to pick up a floor jack. Checked the pressures b4 I left, everything was ok. Thankfully minimum damage to wheel well.
This happened on highway driving 60 mph with the triangle tires.

We had a blow out this August while overlanding in Idaho. We were on a dirt shelf-road, we weren't going very fast, so we assumed I hit a rock that cut the tire from tread to rim. However, we couldn't find a rock anywhere, and after reading what's happened to some of you, I have an appointment this Friday to replace the remaining 2 tires. Thanks for the posts, probably saved me a lot of hassle!

Got the D13 into my garage by dropping the tire pressure to 6.5psi, put it back up to 40psi once inside.

So I'm full-time in my D13 and a bit of a noob when it comes to Dwelling. When I first got my rig back in April, I immediately took it to Moab & Valley of The Gods UT for a 2 month 'Desert Test' - learned a lot. Now I'm doing a 'Winter Test' up at Lake Tahoe CA - seeing how far I get until things break.
Well last night things broke - it got super cold.
1: Water pump not pumping - likely the lines froze. Hoping things will thaw out once I get my heat back on.
Q: Has anyone tried insulating/winter-proofing the water system in the D13?
2: Truma Heater went off at 4am -E202, propane pressure too low. I'm going to try a tank jacket/warmer to help here as I know the tank is not empty.
Q: Has anyone tried a diesel heater with the D13? Was thinking about getting one as a backup - maybe drilling a vent hole in the side of the dweller for it...
Q: Any tips for drilling holes in the Dweller without messing it up?

I heard South Lake Tahoe got to 14° the other morning. My son lives there. You could always dry camp without water in the trailer plumbing system or toilet. Hopefully you haven't cracked any plumbing parts. You would need to add electrical tank heaters and water line heaters to camp in below freezing temperatures. The front faucet on the trailer A-frame would freeze first due to exposure to the elements. Many of the four season trailers require you to run the propane furnace 24 hours a day. There's usually a heat duct into the bottom of the trailer that's enclosed to prevent the plumbing lines from freezing. As you know the bottom of the Dweller is not enclosed. As far as your propane goes you probably could get away with insulating the propane lines and covering the tank with a couple of blankets or old towels. Low temperatures create low pressure issues for propane tanks.

Unfortunately you may have water leaks when your pump and lines thaw out. All of the water lines, elbows and unions are plastic/nylon on the Dweller. If they froze they MAY have cracked due to the freezing expansion of the water, especially your pump filter bowl. All of the water tanks and water distro lines are exposed to the elements underneath the Dweller.

I think the chassis is all made in China. But, really, just replace the bearings with Timkin, throw on a set of Fox shocks, and a good set of BFG or Toyo e rated tires and you are good to go.

How can I install the fox shocks if the eyelets are different sizes? I got the 945-24-003 shocks.. but the eyelets on the fox shocks are too small..

Q: Any tips for drilling holes in the Dweller without messing it up?

Great Q. Anyone got any tips / guidance ? I want to add some external brackets for a starlink and other bits... assume a standard steel drill bit will just go right through the walls or an 1" screw with fix to the wall ? Will send photos when I tackle it ( including the mess ups )
