Just got back and wanted to give you a video tour of the Expo.
Wow, incredible video.

I thank all the contributors of the pictures and videos in these threads here, it makes one feel who has not attended a little closer to the event.

lost, but making time
Hi Pat,

Thank goodness you folks weren't involved.

Sad for the hog and too bad for whomever hit the poor thing...

Lots of things on the roads at night - you know what I mean about the deer in this area, I am sure.

Hey Frank, thanks for the concern, we didnt actually hit it, but pulled up on the scene after the fact.

I was just amazed at how big the hog was and thought it was a cow that had gotten out of the fence.

The splat in the road was pretty big, so what ever hit it must have had to be towed away:Wow1:

Bill,

It was great to finally meet you in person!
Same here, Scott. It really was a mind-blowing event and my head is still spinning from it all. I wish we had another day or two out there.
I have a great shot of your Sweetie, btw; dust mop in hand and armed with Lemon Pledge.

Oh well, I guess it just means next time there is a big gathering like this, well have to get together
That brings to mind what Scott and I were discussing at the barbeque ---- the possibility of a series of ExPo get togethers, camping trips, etc. Regional things with campfires to sit around and swap lies. Putting faces to screen names is best done over a bratwurst and double bock. :chef:

That sounds awesome and I agree with the bratwurst and double bock:sombrero: Best way to meet new people and learn the real them

I thought I'd post a few of the items I was drooling over this past weekend.

How do you go out and get this dirty and fill the Pumpkin with oil when you know this is how pretty it looks to begin with:drool:

Seen in the ARB Booth

I spent way too much time in this booth. I think I'm in love with a new woman and she's a Brute :)

This was another booth I could have maxed out my Credit Card in. If you've never checked out Load Tamers and Quick Fists, you dont realize how many issues of securing the stuff we carry they've solved and made easier

Kurt, from Black Dog Cycle Works turned on this LED Lightbar one night and blinded everyone in the 100 yard vacinity. It is amazingly bright and just sweet looking.

So I was talking to one guy who said he pulled up to the EXPO, parked and spent his first two hours in the campground before he even realized he wasnt at the real show.

This might be the reason. You know when you watch old Westerns and they would Cirlce up the Wagons? Well this is the modern day equivalent of that, only these wagons cost alot of money and are much more luxurios.

I looked at this and thought that Mad Max went out killing zombies in an Overland Vehicle:elkgrin: This was way cool!!

Is anyone with a private plane flying from Guatemala to OvExpo? I need a ride! :victory:

I really wish I could attend this year, it sounds like it will be much better than last year (and last year was fun).

PLEASE start an e-version of Overland Journal.

So do I! But I will join you next year, for sure!

I'm another one who was looking forward to meeting you. I was just down there on Friday and I kept asking folks where you were. I went by you trailer but you were out and about.

Maybe next year. :)

We need an internal comms system for next year. Or maybe an old-fashioned "message tree" like the one at the Norfolk in Nairobi.
