Now that's a really cool build, Australia has the coolest stuff (people), I had two roommates from NSW for years.

Thanks guys, nice. There is a string of other pics at www.expeditionportal.com/forum/showthread.php?t=224&page=2 including the one interior shot I have. Have to get some more. The tubes have been replaced with aluminum since the old shots; and the headlights have been changed a bit. I replaced all the seats (up to six) with Recaro Ergomed ES electrics last year (the four in the back are captain's chair/double armrest variety); queen-size bed right up the back; pop top, all the usual fruit.

And seriously re the tyre on the roof, if you look close you can see a short tube on the left front corner of the roof rack; that's where the aluminium derrick goes (it lives under the bed), swivels out to raise or lower the spare, carries a stainless boat winch, pulley, shackle, all easy.
