New to me 99 XJ Sport

4.0 HO motor
4.5" Rubicon Express Coils and Adjustable trac bar
Rough Country LCA
2.5" AAL in the rear
1" longer rear shackles
Dana 30 front w 3.55 gears
Chrysler 8.25 rear with 3.55s
Open diffs
33x12.5 15 BFG ATs
LED headlights and pods on the A-pillars
New Midland CB

Gonna start a slow build thread as I change stuff, add stuff, and update stuff. Traded my 03 Ram for this.

I would say worth on the trade. Really digging the camo paint too, looks like a good start already from what the original owner already did.

Wow, great finding it back again! Very cool and happy for you.

My youngest, 9, was riding with me the other day in my 7. He asked if I had bought it new from a dealership. I chuckled and said no, I bought it from another person. He had a confused look on his face and asked why anyone would want to sell it. I got a kick out of it. Didn't let on that the thought had crossed my mind a couple of times when it would occasionally act up. He said he'd like to have it one day if I would let him.

This is how I got it. completely stock, was owned by a fire department for 14yrs. 196k miles on it but the smoothest running 4.0 I've ever heard.

Here it is now after 4 months.

Hi Ivers, I noticed that you're running the JW speaker headlights, I have heard mixed reviews of their performance in the snow and ice. What are your thoughts on non heated LED headlights in the snow? Would you recommend the JW speakers for a daily driver in Southeastern New England?

Any more pictures with those wheels, I've been thinking of either the Mammoths or the Mamba MR1's

Very nice rig! I have a 1999 the same color and am wanting to also do the Hyline hood louvers body color matched. They look great on your Jeep! Where did you get the stuff to paint them, and did you do it yourself or have someone else do it?
