Although I am partial to the desert, your pic make a cold expedition much mor enticing!

Beautiful!

So how do you keep it warm?

Very nice truck.

I drew this picture before I had my Rover, and actually my drivers license too. It looks pretty close to your Defender, and even has the deflector on the front of the trailer! :sombrero:

Thanks Guys. DiscoveryXD you are spot on in your drawing regarding my trailer-tent.
The tent is quite warm, made of heavy canvas and a fiberglass shell and as we are well isolated from the ground with thick foam madrases we usually don't heat the tent.
When we stay for more than a night and when expecting moderate weather (not too stormy) we raise an additional connected tent - a kitchen/sitting room. We heat that in cold evenings with a gas heater but never keep the heat on overnight.
The trailer has a lot of clearance and can manage quite difficult terrain, although the flexitor suspension could use more suspension movement and damping for the rough.
Love your 109 Andy.

It's kinda funny too, cause I drew that picture when I was 15 and the trailer was something I just came up with off the top of my head.

Hi all, its been a while since I have been on, I have been too busy driving my disco then to write about it... lol I really like living out here in New Mexico and having this truck then in FL.

Here are a couple of pix I have taken while out here...

I have "miniaturized" alot of these, just to make them look different.

hahaha. i dig those miniatures. how'd you do that?

EDIT: looks like you just put a lot of blur on it, making it look like you were focusing on a really small subject. nice...

You got it, I just use Photoshop, to blur the fore and background and leave part of my subject in focus, its alot of fun and it really gives your picture a totally different feel. If you have PS and want to know how to do it let me know.

here are a couple more.

This is the original picture I started with. I am about 2,000 feet above on a mountain taking pictures.

and here is what it came out to be.
