I gotta do some more things before she is completely off road ready.

I think that's about the nicest looking Discovery I've seen. It no longer has a 'soccer mom' mall terrain vehicle look. Good work!

Finally got some pics of my 04 D2 out in the woods. First trip was this weekend and had a good time and got the truck dirty. Still has the 18" wheels and tires but I've got some 16" wheels on the way. I was truly impressed at how the vehicle handled compared to my Classic.

how does your tire carrier not bind when the door is open? could you post some more detailed pictures of it opened and closed?

Yes, I made the gas can holder also.
I use a link with ball ends to stop it from binding, see picture...

As the door opens the link does not bind because of the ball ends.
